More ode to summer. Peas, hated in childhood due to the awful old smell. But refurbished, I have to admit, they do taste good. And give a balanced combination.
We both left Berlin. Meeting our families and old friends. Soaking up the sun or in my case (Anne) not. And travelling through different countries.
MINTED PEA PURÉE
peas – 400g
mint – 4 springs
some olive oil
Boil the peas and mint springs in salted water till tender, drain and let cool slightly. Blend the peas and mint in your food processor add the olive oil till smooth.
