Description

This Baked Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal is a delightful and nutritious breakfast option that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas with the richness of chocolate chips, all baked into hearty oats.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, milk, maple syrup, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Stir in the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
