- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
For the Glaze:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Add sugar, melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth. Let rise.
- Make the Chai Filling: Combine softened butter, brown sugar, and spices until smooth.
- Roll and Fill: Roll out dough, spread chai filling, roll up, and slice into rolls. Place in a baking dish and let rise.
- Bake: Preheat oven, bake the rolls until golden.
- Make the Glaze: Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
