Pasta:
- 12 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
Shrimp and Sausage:

- 1/2 pound andouille or smoked sausage, sliced
- 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (divided)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sear sausage and shrimp: Brown sausage in a skillet, then cook shrimp with Cajun seasoning until opaque. Set aside.
