Description

This comforting Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles recipe features tender beef stew meat slow-cooked in a flavorful blend of onion soup mix and brown gravy mix, served over perfectly cooked egg noodles. It’s an easy, hearty dish ideal for cozy family dinners with minimal prep and delicious results.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Tips

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water

Noodles & Garnish

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Tips: In a slow cooker, combine stew meat, Lipton onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, beef broth, and water. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  2. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender and the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency.
  3. Cook the Noodles: About 20 minutes before the beef is done, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  4. Combine and Serve: Season the beef tips with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the tender beef tips and gravy over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired for a fresh finish.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use fresh beef stew meat, trimmed of excess fat.
  • You can substitute egg noodles with other pasta varieties like pappardelle or wide fettuccine.
  • If you prefer thicker gravy, you can mix an additional teaspoon of cornstarch with water and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and can be reheated on the stovetop or microwave.
  • To make it gluten-free, substitute the brown gravy mix and noodles with gluten-free alternatives.
