Description

This Crockpot Chicken Stuffing recipe is a comforting and easy meal that the whole family will love. Tender chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with savory stuffing, all made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Chicken:

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Sauce:

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Stuffing and Vegetables:

  • 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Add Stuffing and Vegetables: Sprinkle stuffing mix over the top, add frozen vegetables (if using), and dot with butter.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Shred and Serve: Shred chicken, mix gently, and serve.

  • For extra flavor, use herb-seasoned stuffing mix.
  • You can substitute plain Greek yogurt for sour cream if desired.
