Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Prepare the wide egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain thoroughly and allow them to cool slightly.
- Mix the creamy base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
- Combine noodles and base: Gently fold the cooked noodles into the cheese mixture. Add the kosher salt and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, mixing carefully to incorporate without breaking the noodles.
- Prepare the topping: In a separate small bowl, mix together the remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar with the additional teaspoon of cinnamon. This will be the sweet cinnamon sprinkle for the top.
