Salmon Mixture:

  • 2 cups cooked salmon (flaked)
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as rotini or elbow)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine all the Salmon Mixture ingredients until evenly coated. Transfer to the baking dish.
  3. Add Topping: Combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Canned salmon can be used instead of cooked salmon, ensuring it’s drained and bones/skin removed.
