Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Filling
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat Oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the crust.
- Make Crust Mixture. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; stir until the crumbs are fully coated and hold together.
- Bake Crust. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set, then remove and set aside to cool completely.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
- Add Pineapple. Stir the drained crushed pineapple into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Fold in Whipped Topping. Gently fold in the whipped topping into the pineapple mixture until light and fluffy, ensuring not to deflate the topping.
- Assemble Dessert. Spread the pineapple cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.
- Chill. Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set and flavors to meld before serving.
