Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in the diced tomatoes with green chilies and the cream cheese. Cook, stirring often, until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add Cheddar Cheese: Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until fully melted and incorporated.
- Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl or slow cooker set to warm. Garnish with green onions if desired. Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.
