Description

Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles combine tender, thinly sliced flank steak with rich garlic butter sauce and savory soy and Worcestershire sauces tossed with cooked noodles for a quick, flavorful meal perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale

Protein

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

Sauce & Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Main

  • 2 cups cooked noodles (ramen or udon preferred)

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Make the sauce: Add the butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and ground black pepper to the skillet. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the sauce is well-blended.
  4. Toss noodles: Add the pre-cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them thoroughly to coat evenly with the garlic butter sauce.
  5. Combine steak and noodles: Return the cooked flank steak to the skillet. Toss all ingredients together until everything is well mixed and heated through.
  6. Serve: Plate the noodles and steak mixture and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • Flank steak can be substituted with sirloin or skirt steak for similar texture and flavor.
  • Use freshly cooked noodles or high-quality store-bought cooked noodles for the best result.
  • Adjust soy sauce amount to taste if you prefer a saltier or milder flavor.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free soy sauce and gluten-free noodles.
  • Ensure garlic is sautéed gently to avoid burning and bitterness.
