Ingredients

Chicken Tenders:

1½ pounds chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)

Coating:

½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

For Baking:

2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for drizzling or brushing)

Garnish:

Chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 400°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Prepare the coating: Set up three bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Coat the chicken: Dredge each tender in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange on baking sheet: Place coated tenders on the baking sheet and drizzle with oil or butter.
