For the burgers:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For cooking and serving:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, lettuce, tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the burger patties: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta, red onion, parsley, dill, oregano, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix. Form into 4 equal patties.
- Cook the burgers: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the burgers for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and they are golden brown on both sides.
- Assemble: Toast the burger buns if desired. Serve each patty on a bun with your choice of toppings such as cucumber slices, tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, and tzatziki sauce.
