Ground Beef Philly Cheese Steak:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Hoagie rolls or low-carb buns (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened.
  2. Add mushrooms if using and cook for another 2 minutes. Push veggies to the side and add ground beef. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Stir in seasonings – Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Lay provolone slices over beef, cover with lid to melt cheese. Stir gently to mix or serve with melted cheese on top.
  5. Spoon mixture into hoagie rolls or serve alone for low-carb option.
