Ingredients
Pizza Dough:
1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Pizza Toppings:
1 cup pizza sauce, 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or heart-shaped pepperoni cutouts, 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional), 1/4 cup bell peppers, diced (optional), 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the crusts: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface, cut out heart shapes, place on the baking sheet, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with seasoning.
- Add toppings: Spread sauce on each crust, top with cheese and desired toppings.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Cool slightly, garnish with basil or parsley, and serve.
