For the Wings:
- 2 pounds chicken wings (drums and flats, patted dry)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
For the Glaze:
- 1/2 cup peach preserves
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top and coat it with nonstick spray.
- Season the wings: In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated. Arrange the wings on the prepared rack.
- Bake the wings: Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- Make the glaze: In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, honey, hot sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Coat the wings: Transfer baked wings to a bowl, pour the hot honey peach glaze over top, and toss to coat.
- Serve: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- These wings are also great grilled—cook until crispy, then toss in the glaze.
