  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

For the Pasta:

  • 10 ounces bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken and cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, add lemon juice and zest. Stir in cooked pasta, Parmesan, and pasta water.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add chicken to the skillet, toss everything together. Garnish with parsley and serve.
