For the Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
For the Pasta:
- 10 ounces bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil the bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken and cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, add lemon juice and zest. Stir in cooked pasta, Parmesan, and pasta water.
- Combine and Serve: Add chicken to the skillet, toss everything together. Garnish with parsley and serve.
