Cheese Mixture:
- 9 lasagna noodles (cooked and drained)
- 1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook Meat Sauce: Brown ground beef, sausage, and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, marinara sauce, tomato sauce, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: Combine ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, and egg until smooth.
- Assemble Lasagna: Layer sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish. Repeat layers.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Rest and Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
