Balsamic Glaze:

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
  4. Cook the vegetables: In the same skillet, add garlic, cherry tomatoes, green beans, and red onion. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Make the balsamic glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard.
  6. Combine and bake: Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the balsamic mixture over everything. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven, spoon sauce and vegetables over the chicken, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
