Cookie Dough:

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in the eggs, then mix in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Add mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
- Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets, press crushed peppermint on top, bake for 10–12 minutes.
