  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Beat in the eggs, then mix in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
