Pasta:

  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti

Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails removed)

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta until just under al dente, drain.
  3. In a skillet, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes, cook shrimp, set aside.
  4. Deglaze with wine, add lemon, zest, butter, simmer.
  5. Combine pasta, Parmesan, parsley, place in baking dish.
