Puff Pastry:

Spinach Mixture:
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for sautéing fresh spinach)
Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Spinach Mixture: Mix spinach, feta, Parmesan, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Roll Out Pastry: Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Add Filling: Spread spinach mixture on half of the pastry, then fold the other half over it.
- Cut and Twist: Cut into strips, twist each strip, and place on the baking sheet.
- Egg Wash and Bake: Brush twists with beaten egg and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
