  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 12 cups ice

For Garnish:

  • fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the strawberries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the Mixture: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove the pulp and seeds.
  3. Sweeten and Mix: Stir in the sugar until dissolved, then add cold water and mix well.
  4. Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or serve immediately over ice.
