Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Other Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sliced potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
